ADMISSION POLICY

  • 98 %Admission in Govt. Degree College for Women Wapda Town Lahore is granted strictly on merit. 
  • 2% of seats are reserved for disable students. They must get and attach their disability certificate from the M.S. of Any Govt. Hospital. 
  • Candidates can apply only on the prescribed admission forms the Prospectus which can be obtained from the college office. 
  • Admission will be held in 1st and 3rd year according to the merit policies of Education Department Punjab in accordance with rules and regulation of Board / University. 
  • Candidates may apply on prescribed forms within the due dates announced by college Authority or published in the newspaper. 
  • Candidates seeking admission in F.A, F.Sc, B.A, B.Sc, general science should apply separately. 
  • Admission to Arts classes will not be granted on the science form even if the marks of the candidate are according to merit. To avoid disappointment, candidates should apply separately for each faculty. 
  • Candidates are required to enclose the attested photocopies of the following documents: 


  1. Three attested copies of Detailed Marks Sheet of matriculation.
  2. A copy of Character Certificate from the head of the institution, last attended.
  3. An attested copy of N.O.C. / migration certificate if examination passed from other Board University than Lahore.
  4. An attested Photocopy of C.N.I.C. by Nadra of father / guardian.
  5. Recent photograph one pasted on the face of the admission form and attach three extra photographs with the form
  6. Attach Four envelopes with postage stamps and permanent postal address.



AGE LIMIT:
  • The candidates must not be above 18 years of age on the last date of the receipt of form for Intermediate.
  • The maximum age limit, in case of admission to 3rd year class is 22 years.
  • All selected students are directed to bring their original documents at the time of fee-
  • The admission of any student will be cancelled by the college council, if fake documents or fake statements are submitted to the college office. After the completion of all formalities pertaining to admission, the list of the selected candidates is pasted on the college Notice Board. The 
  • Candidates failing to deposit dues with in the specific time will forfeit their right of admission and their seats will be allocated to the candidates next on merit list.deposit.
